We Or Media?

But don't you think that a "dynamo effect" is in action here: people are stupid because media sells them Language Removed, but media feeds them with this Language Removed just because THEY (public) want to buy it and enjoy paying for it!

As one producer said: I know it is lie [what I am producing], but truth does not sell well, and I do not want to go broke.

So, we [the people] prefer rich colors of all kind of Language Removed to naked (and nasty) truth and to a modest quality education programs - they are hard to understand and thus are classified by general public as "boring" or "narrow specialised". May be this is the origin of "narrow minded" science (versus "open minded" philosophy) myth?

But Lewinsky scandal can go on indefinitely and brings plenty of money to media.

If you visit Barns and Noble or other bookstore -you'll find more shelves for astrology than for science, not to say about even more volumous religion, philosophy, alternative healing and fiction sections.
