It should be quite easy to test your channeler.
Have her ask a dead friend or relative a number of questions that you and the deceased would know the answer to, but not the channeler. To avoid alerting the channeler, ask questions in a way that doesn't make it obvious you're testing the channeler as a skeptic would. Refrain from questions that usually result in only a yes/no response since they have a 50/50 chance of success even if guessing.
Ask questions like: How is the afterlife similar to where you lived as a child? A true channeler would probably indicate the childhood home in the reply since the deceased probably would do so. A talented, but false, channeler would remain vague to avoid being obviously wrong.
Asking your "guardian angel" (as the LDS would call it) questions through the channeler isn't a good test of the procedure because the channeler can make up details about the angel's life that you can't easily test.
The channeler seems to know a lot about spiritual beings influencing your life. She would like you to think you owe her a lot of money for the information. I hope you don't think so.
If these supernatural procedures really worked you'd expect scientists to use them in their efforts to understand the complex universe in which we live. |
