Bonding, when bonding takes place, attachment occurs. When one is attached to something they usually describe there felling for that attachment as love. Bonding, attachment and love is a very important part of survival, in fact it insures survival. A father and mother bond to their children guaranteeing the survival of their child. Animals also bond to there young assuring survival. Bonding is something that originates in the brain; therefore it must be an electrical chemical function of the brain.
Sex can occur with out the need of bonding or love.
However sex can lead to attachment that causes bonding and love. The passion of sec producing a child normally then creates bonding between parents and child.
