Another little gripe I have. :)

It's all well and good to raise complex philosphical points. You definitely know how to write and your posts almost always make for pleasant reading. This, unfortunately, is due mostly to your arguments' greatest flaw: you always stay inside the realm of the hypothetical, never stopping to include real life situations or events.

You say our process of finding truth may end up somewhere quite distant from reality. Okay... Now how about some examples? What exactly are you challenging besides some vague notion? Chemistry? Evolution? Relativity? And, more importantly, what are you trying to prove?

Finally, while we may never end up at the universe's final truths, we are always heading in that direction, in the same way a rational equation always approaches, but never quite reaches, its asymptote. Each new development of science refines previous ones, bringing us closer and closer to truth. Of course, our "truths" may be influenced by our limited minds.

But at least we're headed in the right direction. What's to debate?
