A Relationship With God Or Santa Claus

How do you know these things about God? Could it be that you made them up or copied them from someone else and believe them because they sound good to you? Other religious people believe differently than you. Who's right? In science we should be able to do an experiment to determine who is right.

What relationship? Is it different essentially from the relationship a child has with Santa Claus? It reminds me of the person who wants and believes some other person loves them so they make up in their mind and become convinced of a relationship that doesn't exist.
