MAJOR SIGN: PISCES, THE FISHES - Mark 1:15-17. One fish moves toward the center of the circle toward the Pole star, the other swims in the sun's path. The two are united by a band securely tied around the tail portion of the body of each. The band is also attached to the back of the head of cetus, the Sea Monster, and Aries the Ram has his paw across the band that connects the fishes. The fish represent the church. They were a symbol of Israel thousands of years ago. Icthus is a symbol of our church, and from the Greek is an acrostic representation of Jesus' name and titles. Icthus is Greek for fish; Pisces is Latin; anceitn Egyptian Pi-Cot Onon or Pisces Hori, 'The Fish of Him Who Comes'. Major star Al Samaea, 'The Upheld' -Isaiah 41:10. * Okda (Heb), 'The United, represents Old Test and New Test Christians bound together. In scripture, the symbol of 'two' is a symbol of multiplication. Heb name for this constellation is Dagim, The Fishes, which is also related to a word for multitude. Gen 48:16. DECANS: The BAND (or bridle which connects these two fish). The band makes two intersections: one at the back of the head of Cetus, the Sea Monster, a symbol of Satan, and with the foreleg of Aries. He (the Lamb) takes the bridle in His own hand. Present followers represented by fish in sun path. ANDROMEDA THE CHAINED WOMAN - One of the fishes heads right in and is connected. In one ancient planisphere, these fishes have the face of a woman because another picture used of the church is a bride. Andromeda's Greek name means 'Man-Ruler'. She's seated, chains on hands and feet. Some * names in this constellation mean 'The weak, the afflicted, the chained', a picture of the present church. In Greek myth, Andromeda was beautiful, had resentful sisters who chained her to a rock. She was rescued by Perseus with a great sword and Medusa's head beneath his arm. He portrays Christ. CEPHEUS THE CROWNED KING has lifted hand with sceptre, other hand holds a portion of his robe. Right foot is firmly on Pole-star, the central point in all the galaxies and all of the heavens. CEPHEUS='The (Royal) Branch or The King'. In Egyptian, it is called Per-Ku-Hor, 'This One Cometh To Rule'. Brightest * is in Cepheus' right shoulder, called in Arabic 'Al Deramin' ("Coming Quickly"). the 2nd brightest is at midriff, in Arabian 'Al Phirk' ("The Redeemer"). Left knee contains * Alrai, 'He who Bruises or Breaks'.
