I JUST happened to bring up my notes from 'The Real Meaning of the Zodiac'. Author? Dunno. But if we go in 'astrological' order, according to the half woman/half lion sphinx of Virgo to Leo(not Capricorn through sagittarius) as portrayed in the portico of the Temple of Esneh in Egypt, the earliest human interpretation of the zodiac. The Mazzaroth mentioned in the Bible refers to the constellations of the zodiac. Within each major sign are three 'decans'; even the names of the major starts within each support the 'theme' of that particular sign. Not knowing the posting space limit, will do 2 'signs' per...

MAJOR SIGN: VIRGO (Heb. Bethulah, means virgin, also). There is an emphasis on fertility with branches and seeds (corn/wheat) in hands. =Mary, mother of Christ. Jesus is 'the branch' (see Zech 6:12, 3:8, and isa 4:2a). Brightest * is Spica, which means The Branch. DECANS: COMA - woman in chair holding child. Coma means 'Desired/Longed- For One". In Egyptian, the name for Coma's sign is Shes-nu, 'The Desired Son' (Haggai 2:7a). CENTAURUS, the Centaur: Heb. 'Bezeh'='The Despised One' (Isa 53:3). Even in Greek myth, the centaur volunteered to die and give immortality to Prometheus, the centaur being known aas Cheiron (a hunter, healer, musician, teacher and prohphet). In the decan, he slays a beast called the Victim, as Jesus did (John 10:18) to himself. BOOTES: a man moving forward, rather rapidly, with sickle and spear. In Egypt called Smat, 'One who rules, subdues and governs.' Bootes is from Heb. 'Boz' "To Comes"; another name, arcturus, 'He Cometh'. In his head is a star Nekkar (called Beta by astronomers) which means 'The Pierced'. (Rev 14:15).

MAJOR SIGN: LIBRA, The Scales. Heb. Mozanaim, 'The Scales Weighing'. Libra shows one scale higher than the other, a represented theme of redemption/purchase. he lower scale=Zuben al Genubi, 'The Price Deficient'. Star in upper scale Zuben al Chemali, 'The Price Which Covers'; Rev. 5. Just outside of the bottom of lower scale star Zuben Akrabi-'The Price of the Conflict.' In some ancient zodiac pictures, the lower scale is in Scorpio's talon. DECANS: THE CROSS (The Southern Cross) beneath Centaurus' feet; in lowest part of the sphere, darkest part of the heaavens. Heb. Adom='The Cutting Off'; Dan. 9:26. VICTIMA, the Victim, to the right of the lower scales, is picture of an animal. Earliest Arabian figures show victim as Sura, the Lamb. Dendereh zodiac portrays it as a child. Seen in Jerusalem for many centuries BEFORE Jesus' birth, but not since. Rev. 13. Hebrew name for this victim falling dead from spear of two-natured one Asedah (Arabic asedaton), 'To Be Slain'. John 10:1, 5, & 18. Victim distorted to Horus ("The Coming One") and portrayed him with a finger over his mouth to signal silence, a youthful son of the virgin and Osiris. Greek and Roman called him Harpocrates, 'Justice', 'Victim of Justice', or 'Vindication of Majestic Law', Isa 53:7b. CORONA, The CROWN. Phil 2:6-9, Heb 2:0. In Arabic, Al Iclil ('an ornament' or 'jewel'). Brightest star Al Phecca ("The Shining"); risen from depths and darkness of Southern Cross, the Northern Crown (Corona Borealis) shines at midnight every night over Jerusalem. Rev 2:10. (continued)
