SCORPIO - Rev 12:9. Arabic and Syriac 'Scorpion'='The Conflict', 'War', Rev 9:10,11. In Coptic language is Isidis, "Attack of the Enemy". Star Antares at heart of scorpio='The Wounding' (cutting or tearing). Another star in tail, Lesath (Heb. 'The Perverse') represents the serpent, which has always attacked Christ and followers. DECANS: OPHIUCHUS, THE SERPENT-HOLDER=man struggling with great serpent which is trying to keep him from his purpose, the serpent reaching up to grasp the crown. In Gr. myth, Ophiuchus was the healer, curing sick and bringing back dead by means of blood taken from the side of the goddess of justice; called the 'Physician', 'The Desired One', 'The Health Giver', 'The Universal Remedy'. Myth says O suffered death from the lightnings of heaven, was raised from death to glory through influence of his father, Apollo; Serpens, the Serpent being held. Rev 20, Luke 10:19. HERCULES, THE MIGHTY ONE: Heb. El-Gibbor 'Mighty God'. One of the starts in Hercules is called Ras-Al-Gethi, 'The Head of Him Who bruises'; Cerberus is in his hand, H's foot atop dragon head in a different planisphere. The 2nd brightest star in Heb means 'The Branch Kneeling'.

MAJOR SIGN: SAGITTARIUS, THE ARCHER. Psalm 45:5,6. In akkadian, S is called Nun-ki, 'The Prince of the Earth'. S is victorious, the risen and conquering king, coming to destroy the one who made his sacrifice necessary. He aims an arrow at the very heart of Antares, The Scorpion. Psalm 21:12 and 45:5; Rev 6:2. Brightest * in Sag=Naim (Heb., 'The Gracious (One)'). Ps. 45:2.DECANS: LYRA, THE HARP. Lyre means 'Praise for the Conqueror'; * Vega= 'He Shall Be Exalted". Ps. 21. ARA, THE ALTAR: "Consuming Fire Built for His Enemies". Seen as altar upside down pouring fire into the lower regions called Tartarus, or outer darkness. Ps. 21:8,9; II Thess 1. DRACO, THE DRAGON (whose head is under Hercules' foot) is a portrait of Satan overwhelmed. Drakon (Greek)='Trodden Down'. Brightest * Thuban (Heb.) in 2nd coil from tip of tail='The Subtle'. Note: More than 4,700 years ago, shortly after the fall of man, Thuban was the pole star. That pole now points to polaris, and Satan has lost his pre-eminence because of the work of christ. Sar Rastaban (Heb) in head means 'The Head of the Subtle/Serpent'. 3rd brightes * is Ethanin (Heb) 'The Long Serpent/Dragon'. This ends the first of the three books of the zodiac, each ending with victory over Satan.
