: Yes, sergio, I have seen the movie a couple times myself (as always, the book is much better). It amazes me that you can call Carl Sagan a great man when he was just as critical if not more than I about faith and religion. The movie touches apon faith in science, and the point is a true scientist (Elli Arrowway) CANNOT make theories without evidence, even when they've seen it with their own eyes. Faith then relies on the hypothesis (other intelligent life) and the search for hard evidence must continue. This was at the very core of what Carl Sagan was trying to say.

Look I'm sure I will not change your believe, but my believe will not change either. I wasn't saying anything about Religion I'm talking about the real existence of some force we call God that exist. Many years ago I was speaking to a Catholic Priest and He told me something that I always remenber. They were to persons one did not believe in God, but was a very good person,act like a good Human being The other was believer but it wasn't good with other people When they died, the non believer was call by God to his side, the believer went to Hell. What he want to tell me in that Story, The most important is to be a good person. You saw the Movie in your way and I saw it in my believe. I don't know if Mr. Sagan believe or not but He was a Great Person. I don't judge people for his believe but his acts.
