This is way oversimplified, but an entity is sentient while a force is non sentient. If there was actual INTENTION behind our creation, that qualifies as sentience. If we were "created," but out of some unthinking cosmic mistake, so to speak, it may be outside intervention, but it ain't God.

Now, how about your opinions?
