Where did you get the idea that light was absorbed by matter. It was released by annihilation

Omega is one in the present universe. It is 1/3 due to matter, mostly dark matter, and 2/3 due to what is called dark energy, which is equivalent to the cosmological constant. The visible mass is a very small part of omega

omega had to be one to one part in 10 to the 27th power for us to be here today. So omega does have to do with the early universe.

The question you have not answered is that if omega was one at the end of inflation, and then all anti-matter and most of the matter disappeared into light, how did the omega stay at one.
