please don't take this as insulting to anyone's intelligence, i try to go for more simple words as a matter of self-discipline:) -

Picture a family of 10 children and parents in a home. All is chaos, none 'governs' there own room or the rooms shared. Before long, there is not a clean dish for eating or cooking, not a clean article of clothing, one can barely walk for the debris strewn about. Children do not like to organize. Humans have brains and choice, planets do not, they are not autonomous.

Now picture the same family. This time, each child keeps their own room neat and clean and orderly. The 'communal' areas and tools are always ready for 'progress and growth', not self-perpetuating chaos. They individually and together can expand to be industrious because there are ways and abilities to do so. An adult has established to each and all how this can be done, and the rules are respected. If a child desires to stray, because it does not want to, and asks 'why should i be orderly', what is the typical response of the parent?
