Hi richard vonnie. In the first place, weren't there fare less people (about 1 sixth) or less, in the oldest bible times? I'm not sure we have, with certaily, established a lenghtier life time for them. There are 6 billion people in the world now. I think, at one time there were less than a billion. Also no one had depleated trees or other natural resourses at the alarming rate of today. Yet, in the 'dark ages' people lived shorter lifetimes. Go figure.
