How about that?! An agreement! Two people of two different beliefs, both polar to each other, come to an agreement. I like it!

I didn't know we two had different beliefs. What makes you think that?

The mind is a powerful tool that may have limitless uses. We just can't use those parts yet. Maybe one day we'll be able to do things we can't imagine of yet. Its these things to imagine them now is what is the goal. Accept little, question alot, but don't be a fool. Accept what is absolute, though much isn't so, but there are absolutes. Part of the intelligence is to define those and not to waste your life on absolutes you believe are true, but aren't.

You mean imagine the things we cannot do now? Also an open but not gapping mind, no? And what do you mean by accept what is absolute. We work within certain restrictive parimiters in this world. I think a person can only accept the 'absolutes' within his own reality which are put upon him by his 'karma'. if you will, and not anyone's is exactly the same. We work within certain constraint and latitudes. I've never seen anyone go outside these constraints. To think one can is total fantisy. We are locked in, so to speak, to our limitations but we can work within that. I don't know what you mean by accepting an absolute, or the context you mean it in. If we are limited we certainly cannot be unlimited but we can be creative within the universal laws. ifeel that we restrict our own freedom by being imoral and taking license, albeit unfounded license within our world. If we aren't moral then we put more restraint upon our very being and creativity. Immorality can bring not but more suffering to one and one's fellow beings. Only morality can bring true freedom to act within the laws that God has made. Ritch, what is your belief? Are you a white guy in america? If so this is a land of freedom of religion.
We can have any religion we want. Most religions have a moral code. Sleeping around is not moral. Just wondered if you knew that, or what is your belief on the matter? I have found that it only leads to sorrow in my and others lives. The choices one makes are important to the basic moral structure of human society or any beings' societies for that matter. All in all we have to work with what we got. Blessings will come with morality. Curses will come with imorality. But God helps us work that out if we make up our mind to be good.
