Could you please tell me where you heard of this rather extreme belief in the teaching of Christ. For what I and most like believe is quite different. In fact what you are saying is more likely heretical. We are not divine that is why Christ had to come down and sacrifice himself so that he could pay the price since we as mere humans could not. In fact the price needed to be paid by someone who was man but man could not because of his fallen nature so it had to be someone divine as well. That is why Christ is both 100% man and God. Man as a whole is not nor ever will be divine. |
