I was a Christian that was somewhat of a fanatic until about 1 year ago. The reason I changed was because I started to think, and realized that how I first began to believe in the religion was because of my upbringing. I lost my faith and trust in people, and since the bible was written by a person, you can guess where this is going. I prayed a prayer that went like this: "God, I don't know what to trust. I feel I can trust you and only you. Lead me where I need to go." I didn't want to trust a man behind a podium who was telling me "god does this, god wants that" because people lie. And I figured, why would God tell somebody else just to tell me what I need to do. So, I started viewing science as more of a way for me to discover this world where religion would not allow me to. But I do feel that there is a God, and that he's watching us on our journey through life. I'm kind of hoping reincarnation is true just so I can come back to see how far man has gotten in technology. I would love to travel to and study a black hole.
