I believe it was in the 12th chapter of Zechariah, that these words were penned: "And in that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut to pieces, though all the people of the earth shall be gathered against it." Indeed, it is remarkable that the nation of Israel exists today, given that this was written over two thousand yrs ago. Where are the Hittite, Amorite, Mayan, Babylonian, Sumerian, Greek, Roman etc [all of which were more/less contemperanious] nations today? There is nothing new about the lust for Hebrew blood. From the time of the ancients, through pax Romanos, the Spainards of the late fourteenth century [Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand of Spain once slew 100,000 Jews] up until Stalinist [and present day]Russia, Hitler, and now most recently, the Nation of Islam. Whose "Dome of the Rock" currently sits at the site of Solomon`s Temple. Jewish persecusion is the common thread that weaves through the history of Western and mid-Eastern culture. Keep an eye on Jerusalem. Ezekiel 38 tells us that an army comprised of "Gog and Magog" [present-day Russia, according to Josephus-secular historian] "will come from the north" along with Persia [Iraq/Iran], Ethiopia, Gomer [Turkey] and Libya, and will attempt to take Jersualem. How do the skeptics contend with this? Is it a coincidence that all of the above-mentioned nations are allies of Russia? Is it a coincidence that a ruler placed over-top of Jersualem and Moscow will point exactly due north? Is it a coincidence that if Russia, who is on the verge of economic collapse, were to align itself with the aforementioned enemies of Israel in said invasion, it would stand to recoup it`s former stand as a dominant world power? I look forward to your thoughts. |
