Melvin, in your correction of Afropuff`s literacy problems you misspelled the word "misspell" with the incorrect spelling "mispell." You also advised Afropuff that he/she used the wrongly spelled nonexistent word "terrestial" for the correctly spelled word "terrestrial" whereas Afropuff actually used the misspelling of "extraterrestial" for correct spelling of
"extraterrestrial." Otherwise I agree with your comments concerning the concepts of God (religion)and science and the divide between them. I would like to emphasize that although those who profess the existence of a God/god for the most part do not use objective substantiation as support for their claim of a God/god -- relying instead primarily on subjective support such as presumptive divinely inspired spokespersons of God/god and their writings (their most authoritative references), interpretation, anecdotes, testimonials, discretionary attribution of cause for events and conditions to a God/god --, on occasion they cite revelation and prophesy as evidence of their God/god, of God`s/god`s manifestation and therefore existence. They hold that prophesy is contingent upon divine relevation and the existence of a God/god. Unfortunately they primarily use the alleged materialized prophesies in scripture (of the past or after-the-fact or alleged fact), written by their alleged divinely inspired authorities, as their evidence of a God/god.
