We Are More Detectors Than Sources

The knower is a detector in the metaphor. Moreover, it is a detector that can move about outside the body, if OBE is extant.

I cannot think of anything in the natural waorld that behaves like that. Perhaps you can. But I admit to being distracted by a presentation I have to make at a conference in Arizona next week. So I really cannot devote much time today.

Since I cannot think of a media, or a field , that can support a wandering detector rigt now, I may as well discuss something I think I know something about. This is in regard to Sheldrakes Morphic field and string theory. Brian Josephson who won a Nobel Prize for a junction that bears his name, and who is the Head of the Cambridge University Mind-Matter Unification Project, recently wrote a paper in which he claims that certain solutions in string theory allow for paranormal behavior. So there may be a chance of someday (someone) theorizing on the Morphic field.
