Let me ask it a different way. There are according to astronomers vast voids of nothing, not even dark matter, in between strings and clusters of galaxies.

We can see the clusters from their light passing through the voids.

If we are to believe seasickr, the voids could not even exist. Light would create matter there.

Or if we are to believe you, light could not pass through the voids for lack of particles.

Nevermind. I think I answered my own question.
