I don't believe the doppler shift is an exact explanation of what we observe among the stars.

I notice that the premise that gave rise to the suborning of the effect from acoustics to radiation did -or does, not account for the increase in volume or the distances from which the "before" and "after" volumes can be observed.

Now it seems that the so called effect is able to tell us that some stars are going to cease; eventually becoming black holes or whatever.

It seems very little information upon which to base such astronomic conclusions.
