What do you mean That only a part of our universe exists. What about the rest of it?

There are several possible meanings.
1) Present tense existence does not include all the necessary information about what exists.
What exist(ed) is part of the universe too.
What "will or may later exist" is part of the universe Historical information only "exists" in the abstract or symbolic record. Example: A supernova's peak show in our sky has come and gone; information about that peak is still key to describing the universe as it exists, yet that moment does not exist any more in the supernova itself.
2) Our perception of the universe includes various errors and delusions and lies -- and
the perceptions are fleeting, unlike the more
stable timetables which revolving galaxies seem to keep.
3) etc. Pleze depost 50900.

Are you from Whittier, CA. I've been there-- lectured at Whittier College on John Greenleaf Whittier. Are you connected to him--a descendant?

It's my middle name; certainly no descendant. Maybe there's a family connection. The family has a faintly remembered story of him fishing out back of their place in New Hampshire. That's pretty bad as bragging rights, I guess; as you know, he was extremely famous in his time so folks were impressed. There is some reason to suspect a distant cousin-hood too but not all the family are chatty like I am.
