is a particle theory of light and matter. Feynman is very clear about QED being a particle theory. I would quote Feynman from my copy of QED but I loaned it to a friend. He equates it to Newton's 'corpuscle' description of light. Read Taylor's introduction and check out the workbook and software program for introducing students to the path integral method. Its very good and the computer exercises are great.
