So Does Nature Count

What base does it count in. Does it only count in real numbers, positive and negative.

Does it count in fractions, or irrational numbers as well as rational.

It would appear that irrational counting is required as the relationship between a circle's diameter and circumference (or area) is irrational.

But humans cannot count in irrational numbers. So if irrational counting is required, then human intelligence is not sufficient. So please expound on the nature of nature's consciousness.

And how is human consciousness related to the more profound and irrational as well as rational consciousness of nature.

Sincerely,

Richard
