Mike's point about not rushing to pass judgement on the Bible is very interesting but

I don't mean people shouldn't question.

How about: you don't have to
depending on your goal
you don't have to not
depending on your goal

but that level of freedom and responsibility looks like what is described in the Gospel

where there is something about "You are Peter, and to you I give the keys to the Kingdom Of Heaven. Whatever you bind on Earth is considered bound in Heaven; whatever you consider loosed on Earth, is considered loosed in Heaven"

and something in the Gospel talks about "knowing not from whence you come or to whither you go"

sounds like clear thinking!

Openness to freedom, awareness, Existence; being and letting be; "love God ; love one another" as Jesus taught us.

I think humans have built in understanding about life in harmony with creation and each other; as there are similarities between the nature of newborn babies and Jesus.
