I agree with your assesement A. Souza, but analysis is something I find quite enjoyable. I don't think all scientists would rather turn everything that is marvelous about nature into a boring, purposeless machinery. I think there are some out there that are quite as passionate about their findings as artists can be about their creations.
Perhaps scientists, unlike non-scientists, see more than machinery in their field. But it seems a heavy flaw (by ALL people) to sometimes only see things in their own terms. If you're an artist, you may see things far less analytical than they really are. If you're a scientist, you may see EVERYTHING in terms of analysis. Either way, it's too far away from reality.
