Then it makes sense to familiarize yourself with GR and the predictions Einstein model makes wrt natural phenomena [pretty successful model so far]. Here is Sean Carroll's Lecture Notes on General Relativity. Chapter 7 has a section comparing Newtonian and Einstein orbits.
