Hey brother. My faith is not blind, or I would be a fool; faith is the substance of things unseen. For ex., I know that if I take my key, and put it into the ignition switch of my truck, it will start; I know this from past experience. Can I see or demonstrate this faith in anything other than a physical sense, no, yet it is real. In my own life He has seen me through many trials, He has shown me that on the otherside of every trial is a blessing that He will use [through me] to glorify His name. In doing so He allows me to share in His glory; His Spirit dwells within me. Yesterday I visited the mother of a friend, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia; He strengthened her through me, in turn, the visit was a blessing to me in that I shared in His glory. Before yesterday I could not have picked this sister out of a crowd; yet we now share a bond of Love in Christ that will stand for eternity, just for listening to the call. Before I walked into the room and held her hand, I knew it would be so; that is Faith my good friend:) |
