zionism and islam both have territorial agendas
I try never to consider the religious question
together with the territorial one
In answer to your question about Israeli occupation least there are two sides to the question. The one you did not seem to have heard is that
Roman conquest of Palestine/Israel around 2,000 years ago was accomplished by one of the first
societies which aspired to be a society of laws:
Rome. While being a society of laws, however, they seized land from its inhabitants, who were literate merchants and tradespeople and farmers, and gave it as retirement ground to Roman soldiers and others. This history makes it a legal dispute between two very old societies.
After the Holocaust of WWII, which had some of its roots in a "new rome," the legal dispute
was partly resolved by the United Nations returning some land to a tribe, Israelites, in a special situation. Whether you agree or not, this
is part of the story.
