It was meant to be interpreted loosely. I guess a better way to say it is that all music comes from the same part of our subconscious.

You're right about that - he will have to face God's wrath in final judgement ;-)

I'm just kidding. I think some music can be good for you, some music can be bad, but it's really up to you to allow yourself to be influenced, not the music.

There was a time when the Viennese Waltz ("Blue Danube", etc.) was considered highly immoral. It's all in people's heads.
