Jesus Surpassed Krishna Is One Sense

In the Sri Bagavata Gita, Krishna offers that man should fight the good war, seemingly because it is fate or the will of god. The teachings of Jesus were, in my opinion, were designed to avoid all wars. There are aspects of Eastern religion that were inherently peaceful, like Jainism. But for the most part Eastern religions endorsed war and discrimination of people, both of which Jesus opposed. Jesus made the meek and especially women the equal of all.

Paul reversed this teaching when he said that the rulers were put there by god and that we should obey them, and that women are to men like men are to god.... In this sense, Paul is more like eastern religion which to a large extent was useful for controlling people. Women are still greatly discriminated against in the east.

So it seems to me that the most important teachings for the present age come from Jesus and not from either modern christianity or eastern religion.
