In all honesty, the concept of soul doesn't make sense to me. I'm not saying it's wrong or something, just saying I don't understand it.

Funny you mentioned the history of the soul. Shouldn't the history of my soul be known to me? If the soul is what I really am, my essence, shouldn't I know everything there is to know about it, even if I didn't know anything else? If that is the case, then how come the history of my soul has a beginning?

On the other hand, if I'm missing something and the soul "always existed", then it couldn't possibly have "come" from something, could it? Isn't "coming" an action in time?

Something is wrong here.
