The Universe "exists"???

Stars and planets exist, but the universe? The universe only exists as an abstract entity inside your head, much like "America". Or "God"

That's what you don't get. God is not an object, God is an abstract entity by any sensible definition (that is, exclude "bearded old man" and the like). The question of the "existence" of abstract entities is not as simple as you try to make it.
