This was meant to be a sort of ideal condition. He argued that cities are completely alien to our behavior, thus causing all urban related problems we see today (faceless random crime, it's harder to steal from your flesh and blood neighbor). He described cities to be a "human zoo" because it was comparable to a real zoo with caged animals. Both animals and human seemed to experience the same psycological effects. : Ground rules? Nothing especially profound comes to mind (do what U want? Clearly that wouldn't work). : Luxury is kind of a subjective term. Computers are a luxury by some standards, but I'd still like to have em. Maybe a better word is excess.

***Well, for one thing, less restriction on the ranging of herds as well as all the other types suseptible to becoming isolated and dying, or road kill (animal friendly transport systems).

Agricultural planning on a global scale as well as housing most of which would be underground for insulation and security. The use of technology for creating vast surplusses of nonperishables, which are also modified perishables.

Basically it would be nice to have all those wonders the space program is coming up with, but on a widespread continous basis, fuel, water, oxygen if/when needed. Oh, and completely organic farming methods, and while I am dreaming, maybe a system of rotation for families not only in housing but within the family system itself. Whoa! Getting a little to communistic there, or maybe just a system of all adults living alone and a childs home coming in stages, which leads me to the concept of a moral/social code based upon pure honesty of feeling and thought...

***I don't know, it just seems like there must be something better than the capitalistic method of competition, more is better, some must have less to ensure others have more, surface honesty and underlying non-honesty, politics, infuence, nationalism, religion, and ulimately hatred/war.

***And need to keep it simple too, a world encompassing organization without and leaders to corrupt it, could we do it or would we have to have a computer manage it, but then there are the progammers...

***To be accepted by all in a system that one understands and loves is the ultimate utopia, especially when one knows that it's peaceful philosophy which respects the world that creates and supports us is the reason our ancestors came to this secluded wonderful world in spaceships. (This of course is looking back by my gggggrands.)
