After all; how can one claim to be absolutely certain that you cannot be absolutely certain (about reality)?

Unless you exclude yourself from reality? Or regard yourself as certain; so divide reality in to two classes; internal reality, and external reality? And isn't your perception of external reality constructed by internal reality?

Yet external reality seems to be independent; your construction of a view of it appears to involve collaboration with external events.

(Perhaps: musical chairs game 1: your construction of a view;
musical chairs game 2: external events;
musical chairs game 3: common ground between games 1 and 2 (collaboration))

And could an agnostic claim certainty over his uncertain position?

Looks like those Godel self-referent sentences.

You can be certain of this: what patterns you match together, you match together?
