Well yes. Look at the current earth summit. While they always point fingers at the US for it's problems the fact is that for what we use we are the cleanist country in the world. (Also as a side note while the people at the summit are eating their lobsters and fish, (to a total of 500,000 pounds (the cash)) litterally a few miles away people are straving to death.)

They wanted us to sign the Kyoto treaty. Something that would have charged us with a pollution tax if we exceeded their levels of safe pollution, while exculding the countries that actually are polluting. These countries would be the ones that actually have the gaint could of pollution over there countries that we have seen in the last couple weeks.

Really all they are is just another arm of the big goverenment people. If the enviroment gets in there way they ignore it. If it makes government bigger the embrace it.

As Rush limbaugh would say "Enviromentalist are water mellons, Green on the outside and Red on the inside."
