And no doubt it would be a very helpful companian to the books. Several times while I was reading them I thought, 'Wait a minute, which way are they going now?' and then had to back-track some.
I recentally got the dvd of the movie, and it's great. I can't wait for the special edition dvd to come out. It's gonna be soo cool! By the way, have you ever read any of C.S. Lewis's stuff? He was a friend of Tolkien's.
