In response to this post, I changed the footer to suggest that posts do, in fact, belong to their poster by adding the words "Unless otherwise specified."

However, the previous footer (the one your comment is about) has not changed its basic wording in two years so your statement "But I have noticed no mention until now ..." is not because it just appeared; It is because you really did not notice. It has been there since this forum turned into a database sometime in 2000.

However, it is a good to not claim all the posts; I never intended to... honest. Some of them are quite bazarre.
