We Can Only Say Two Things About It

Hi Alan,

I agree completely with what you wrote. Concerning Eternal Life, I think we can say only two things; one is important, and the other is only fun.

The important thing is to acknowledge the existence of it.

The fun thing is to guess at some of its features or characteristics. It is very important, however, to realize that each and every such guess will be wrong, and if we really knew the truth, would seem ludicrous, nonsensical, and childish. None of these guesses should be taken as a basis for making decisions in living our lives. That would be dangerous and cause untold trouble. The only purpose for such speculation, is for the enjoyment of those who like to guess in this way.
