Hi Mario,

I don't think free will is a condition; I think it is an ability, or a capability. Here is the definition I came up with after thinking about your post:

Free will is the ability to cause specific, preconceived physical actions which otherwise would not happen for lack of sufficient cause.

Notice that preconception requires something that can do the conceiving. In other words, in my definition free will requires something like a mind. Randomness, of course, doesn't.
