He said that you had to keep all the laws of moses to get to heaven.

In your above quotes Jesus does not say he is God.

He does imply that he is the Messiah. But the Messaih is not God. That was abundantly clear to those Jews and to every Jew today. The Messiah is not God. But maybe you have to be Jewish to understand Judiaism. That is why I converted.

The profound implication of all you have quoted in the above post and in the previous one, is that we humans can do and be just what Jesus was and thereby get very close to god- perhaps even become part of god.

That is the real message of Jesus. It is much much more inspiring than just going to heaven where you nothing to do forever. That is a bleak prospect. Yet most christians will selfishly do anything or believe anything to get into heaven.

What is more selfless is to wish to come back to life on earth to carry out the will of god as you promise to do everytime you are reborn.

Sorry to preach but the whole christian thing about salvation is so limited in comparison to what god really wants from us. And if you read what Jesus said, all your quotes, with an open mind, you will discover a much more profound message than simply salvation.

However, I do respect the strength of your beliefs.

Regards,

Richard
