God does not care if your belief system has errors. None are perfect, especially the ones that claim perfection. They are imperfect from arrogance alone.

I think god prefers you to follow your heart rather than your head.

The strength of believers like Sam and Aaron comes from their hearts rather than their heads. That is why it is so difficult to shake their beliefs even when rather obvious errors in their thinking are pointed out. The point is that ones thinking is not all that important. That is more like game playing- fun but not vital. What really counts is ones intentions, selfish or selfless.
