"When Jesus died on the cross, his body didn't "arise" until 3 days had passed. That means God was dead for 3 days!!"

1. Jesus is only one part of the 3 part trinity.
2. The physical body dying has nothing to do with the spirt. Jesus was very well aware if where he was when he was physically dead.
3. God is infinte. If you could split you God into trillions of pieces. only one would be needed to hold the universe together, science each peice would be infinite.
4. Since when does one lose one's ability to percieve ones surronding since one dies. Obviously this would be on another plane of existance, but still one countinues to exist after one dies.

"Who kept the universe in order those 3 days?"

God.

"Maybe God doesn't need to be around with its hand in the cookie jar, so to speak, all the time. Maybe God is indifferent and an impartial observer in the universe. Maybe God just set it all in motion, or maybe everything around us, including existence, is God."

Obviously these comments are being made from a false understanding of scripture. Since all of us have misunderstandings I of course will not hold this against you.

May God Bless Ya!
