"...an important part of the christian faith is to witness to others. God loves them the same as me."

Like getting people to come to Sunday school and youth group. The 5th quarter activities after games. Is that what witnessing is?
Is that what it is called when a child is reared in the church climate and given no other alternative to the Christian faith? I think that sounds more like brainwashing.

I was brainwashed myself as a child. I bought in on the whole deal, everything. I will not do that to my kids. If they want to go to church, then it will be their decision. They will have a choice, unlike what I was given.... orders!!

If they choose organized religion then I will love them the same, but it will be an adult decision. Kids aren't capable of comrehending the philosophical implications of organized religion, and most adults shelter them from it.

Witnessing is a way to make more money for the cash cow. Gotta feed the monkey, right?

Scott
