I hope what I am going to say doesn't offend anyone. This is my belief.

Ok, the penalty for sin is death. Jesus paid the price for those sins by dying on the cross, and rising from the dead three days later. Now all we have to do to go to heaven is ask God to forgive us from our sins. Now, here is the point of witnessing. If you don't accept Jesus on earth, when you die you go to hell, and are seperated from God. I do not want that to happen to anyone, so I witness to people so they will accept Jesus, and go to heaven. I tell people of Jesus, and they chose for themselves. That choice is the most important choice one can make on earth. That is the whole point of witnessing.

"They will have a choice, unlike what I was given.... orders!!"

You should never be given orders to believe in Christ, I'm sorry that happened to you. But if you knew that you could save someone from going to hell, would you not make sure they knew about it?

"Witnessing is a way to make more money for the cash cow. Gotta feed the monkey, right?"

Who gives money to what? My friends I bring to church have not given the church a penny. I probably do not give the church enough myself. The church is not about money, and if yours was, as too many are now, that is a pity.

This is my belief of the Christian faith and in particular, witnessing. KC2GWX 73's
