Why would God create the universe with the appearance of age? Why not actually create an old universe so defying the laws of physics isn't neccesary? You argument sounds like God put a lot of effort into actively tricking humanity.

And why do you view close-mindedness as a benefit? You are the first person I have ever heard admit this. I think you just went down about sixty notches. :)
