A Wave Equation

Harv,

I do not have the qualifications of John or Eric, but I am trying to respond in detail.

In this post I wish to comment that Dick has derived a wave equation. He did not derive THE wave equation for there are numerous wave equations describing all sorts of fundamental and phenomenological quantities in the universe.

There is no such thing as THE wave equation.

But then he assumes the form of the time variation of psi to be an exponential and claims to have derived THE Schroedinger's equation.

Actually I think he fudged the derivation of the wave equation, but that is beside the point.

Would you agree with this point?
