Please Distinguish "the Story" From "the Religion?"

It seems to me the source book
is highly important in defining the religion.
but you say,

I take responsibility for what I am supposed to believe. If you truly want me to decide for you, then I will expect to be paid, of course...for I will then need to purchase liability insurance in case you sue me for giving you a line of baloney and insisting it's true. Tee hee.
hey, that's about what religions usually do.
A few don't...but I don't mind paying a little for ambiance.
