No Respect, Huh?

Yesterday I had to sit through a movie with the guy behind me feeling that everybody else needed to hear his opinions of the movie as it was going along. It is becoming typical in our society that all respect is lost (esp. for elders, politicians, scientists, etc). We have taken the phrase 'we are all equal' to mean that there are no 'top minds' or 'authorities', everyone is opinion is equal in truth (esp. each individual's opinion).

If such trends continue, I guess I'll have to rent more movies. Just the idea of listening to people who think they know - when they don't know - is more than I can take.

Warm regards, Harv
