except for the mixed up dates. I'll agree to use eras rather than epochs.

Obviously the ancients who first wrote down the biblical creation story did not have the scientific equipment of today's scientist. Yet the cgreation story is remarkably close to what we now accept as fact.

So the onus is on you to explain how the ancients could know about the history of the earth. My suggestion is a supernatural source- not necessarily what you would call god- but still an intelligent source.

The rest of what you wrote above is just semantics- quibbling with the words I chose to use when you very well know what I meant. In some ways I prefer the Cliff side of your personality.
